I have just come bck from week 7 1st run, thought this is going to be getting easier,as I have done the 25 mins already but NO god it was harder than any I have done, breathing rapid all the way round, wanted to stop 3 times as I felt really sick, slowed down but still felt sick and breathing bad, when the hell will it ever get any easier, but I thought it would be much easier by now, I even got tingles in my right hand thats new too.
I dont mean to moan but why does it not get an... - Couch to 5K

First of all, well done for getting to week 7!
You will have good runs and you will have bad runs. My hardest run was probably the first one after I graduated.
The most important thing is that you keep at it. Try not to focus on the bad runs. Just get out there and do it again.
Good luck!
Hi littlejan. Don't worry! We all have bad days and bad runs. Maybe you started off a bit quickly if you were feeling confident after W6 or maybe it was warm or you were just a bit lower in energy than usual. With C25k there is very little chance to consolidate your new found fitness before you are pushed on again so it is inevitable that some runs feel pretty hard. I found W7 hard and hated the music too so ran to R3W6! Don't be discouraged. Just think how far you have come! What I have found is that I am enjoying the actual running more after graduating (rather than the smug glow when I finish a run and the general feeling of having more energy and fitness). I think it's down to the fact that I am not pushing myself so hard and am not so anxious that I will finish each run. It's been said before but however bad you think a run has gone you are still lapping all those folks who are still on the couch. Good luck
So you ran for 25 times longer than you were able to seven weeks go, well done. (I still struggle with my breathing, hoping it gets better after graduating when i can consolidate before moving on with a new challenge)
TWENTY-FIVE minutes! Could you do that a few weeks ago? Focus on how far you have come. You didn't get sluggish overnight and you won't get fit overnight. It takes hard work, so just concentrate on how far you have come and start off your next run with a positive attitude. You've seen from all the members here that the program works, just forget the bad runs and focus on the good ones.
