Walking out of work on Wednesday I felt a sharp pain in the back of my thigh. By Thursday morning it wasn't too bad so I did W8R2.
A few minutes into the run it started to niggle but nothing too bad but by minute 19 I had to have a 5 second walking break and again at minute 23. I was 30 seconds short of the whole run because of the pain but I'm claiming it as W8R2 as I know I would've managed it!!
I've rested for 2 days, stretched well after zumba & pilates today, but my hamstring (my zumba instructor identified the muscle!) is still pulling...
Any ideas how long this could go on for? Or what to do to help it? I want to crack on with W8R3!

pulled muscles do take time to heal so it's not a good idea to run until it's better. Take anti-inflammatories and rest it. Now you're on week 8 you shouldn't lose much fitness and will probably be able to continue from where you left off, although you might have to go more slowly. Get well soon.
Thank you ~ I've been taking anti-inflammatories since it happened & hoped it would've calmed down by now. Looks like more rest then. Gutted, am worried I might lose the momentum...
