It'll save you time in the long run. (Just confirming what you know, yourself). Maybe you can walk or swim or something? (I could suggest lots of core work, but that's certainly not a reassuring suggestion.)

that is a real bummer :( I know from experience about being on the IC , it is hard and frustrating at the best of times .

You will get better and recovery but it will take time ...as gary said maybe some other form of gentle exercise whilst you recover .

Hope you recover soon :)

If I read this correctly - it's been playing up for about a week now. Ice is good. If you can afford it £35 spent on a physio appointment may be worth considering if it doesn't start to ease up soon.

If you are desperate to get out - go for a bike ride. A bike offers you non-loadbearing exerciseand you may well find that the restricted range of movement that your hamstring goes through when riding as compared to running (your feet rotate in small circles) makes cycling do-able.

Hi Adam it's been two weeks this weekend !!! I'm going to give it another week and then see a physio unfortunately consultations are £60 where I live

I've been swimming each night and plenty of steam and saunas

Unfortunately the problem I have is the pain is right at the top of my leg and into my bottom so it pulls all the time even when sitting

I've rested lots this week so I might try getting into the gym next week xx
