Running for dummies

I found a site called Runningfordummies.net and the very first quote grabbed my attention:

My favorite Running Quote: "If you run, you are a runner. It doesn't matter how fast or how far. It doesn't matter if today is your first day or if you've been running for twenty years. There is no test to pass, no license to earn, no membership card to get. You just run." John Bingham.

It is humerous and insightful... Thought it was worth sharing!

Happy running!

Ps. I entered the City to Surf 14k run last night, will be running Sydney for the first time on 12th August!

Love the quote. Would love to do the city to surf one year (i am in Sydney as well) . Will have to be next year as I'm playing soccer still and we play that day. I'm thinking the "Pub to Pub on the northern beaches a few weeks later. Good luck!

Best quote I've heard, loved it. Will have to take a look at the dummies site. I applaud you for running in the heat, we just love the rain (summer has been cancelled here) in little old Britain.

Oooohhhhhh I'm so jealous, we stayed in the ANA Hotel overlooking the Harbour bridge the first time then same hotel overlooking Darling Harbour second visit. I LOVE AUSTRALIA. We had a wonderful breakfast down by the Rocks in a small cafe with gas heaters on the patio. We had to ask them to turn off our heater cos we were too hot!! Well it was about 18C which is hot enough for us Scots :) I hope you have a wonderful run, enjoy. :)
