So after completing the challenge, I've decided that I really don't want to stop At the moment going to do charity run and keep doing 5k runs for about another 3/4 weeks. But I have decided to now see if I should train for a 10K run for the end of the year Thoughts?

Yes, yes, absolutely. I'm always up for people carrying on to longer distances. Only you will know, eventually, if that's the way you want to go, or whether you want to carry on doing 3-4 miles three or four times a week.
I was reading an interesting article on some research completed recently which stated that people who ran up to twenty miles a week (obviously split between 3-4 days not all at once) improved their fitness, health, and lived longer. Running more than that did not significantly add any extra benefits. So, either way, you are a winner (for yourself) if not in the races.
Me and my cousin to be started this programme together 6 weeks ago and so far have loved every minute! We signed up to Race for Life 5K, which we are doing this Sunday and are already taliking about doing a 10K next year!!
