Did run 2 of week 5 last night was really pleased with myself. Looking forward (?!) to run 3 tomorrow, not sure I can manage 20 minutes but I will give it a go! I have been really impressed with the podcasts so far.

I did wk5 r3 today and told myself that it was just r2 joined up! I was fading by 15 minutes but having done a total of 16 in r2, I managed to convince myself to keep going. After 18 minutes Laura says slow down if you need to but keep going so I breathed a sigh of relief and put my speed down from 8.5kph to 7.5 so I could complete the 20 minutes. feels good to finish and I'm sure that when the next long runs come in during wk7 I will be able to do those too. WK5R3 is a real morale booster :) Good luck and let us know how you feel when you've done it.

You're right to trust the podcasts - you will be fine! Just hang on in there and don't go too fast. About ten minutes in it clicked for me and it will for you. At that point you know all you have to do is keep going. Good luck and tell us how you get on.

You will do it, just relax and enjoy and put one foot in front of the other, it will come. Then you will have the biggest high ever and you will have passed the biggest hurdle. Good luck, let us know how you go.

You can do it. Just keep your thoughts on something other than the ticking clock. Best wishes for a successful run.

I did it! I took it very slowly, my legs felt so heavy to begin with but by the time Laura said you've done 15 minutes I knew I could do it. Thanks for your encouragement.
