John wanted this site better known so this morning I did a free advert in BootsDiets.com which I am registered with for obvious reasons.

Below is my post on BootsDiets.com.

OK you all know the NHS, (National Health Service) and they really are trying to get people fitter and healthier so here is just one of their many sites that have been set up. If you haven't heard of Couch to 5K running programme thats what this site is all about. Its FREE its interesting, its informative and it works.

So if you have ever thought you would like to jog/run now is your chance, have a look at this site, read some of the blogs, you will be amazed just how many success stories are on it. There are more and more people completing the C25K every week and believe it or not they are not just from UK, there are people from Spain, Canada, Australia to name but a few other countries.

While I'm sprouting about jogging don't forget to check out the C25K Group posts on here, there are quite a few of us Bootsers jogging these days but we would love more to join us, so come on, keep us company and GUYS, yes you lot who hide behind the scenes, lurking quietly come on and try it, you may enjoy the challenge of something new.

So don't be a couch potato any longer, be a C25K Graduate like me and many others. :)

Hope it drums up some more joggers/runners because I think it is such a good thing NHS & Laura have done for many people.

Yeh did that too CaroleC :) I've been running a C25K Group on Boots for a couple of months now, its just a weekly blog for members who are doing C25K to post their successes and experiences (very few failures so far) and the odd bit of advice etc. It seems to help, I know I would have loved to have known about this site when I did C25K last year for the first time. I felt rather alone and was a lone runner then. :( not any more though. :)
