Wanted to run this morning, but still not happy with doing wk 4, so out in the wind and the rain, changed my route, and it went really well, even added an extra minute at the end before my walk.
So happy overall, and will move to w4 eventually when i feel it is right. Hopefully next week.

Sounds like you are happy and know how to pace yourself - and that's all that matters. I've repeated weeks until I have felt ready to move on and it worked for me. Good luck with your next run.
Thats the beauty of this programme, you go at your pace, when you are ready to move on thats when you do. I was like you too, if I was struggling I changed my route, sometimes incorporating part of the old one so that some of it was familiar.
Yes, you go at your own pace, but its important to remember that you *are* ready. No matter how god awful hard the week 3 runs were, if you completed them all, you are now ready to move onto week 4.
You can do it. Remember, it starts to become a battle with your mind as well as your body. Your mind just doesnt believe you can do what seems such herculean tasks. But, your body is ready (as your ability to add to your recent week 3 workout shows, i doubt you could add anything on your first week 3 run).
On some of the later runs, it was one of the things that kept me going. I knew i had completed every run, i knew each one was hard. I would repeatedly tell myself i was ready.
You need this kind of mental edge when it comes to running in week 5 as your mind starts to scream at you to stop, even though your legs and lungs are perfectly able to do the job.
