I've been reading these blogs for weeks. Today I did W8R1 in the wind and rain and what kept me going was coming back home to tell you all I did it. 8 weeks ago I stuggled to run the 60 seconds and would only have gone out in dry, wind free weather. I named myself well all these weeks ago - I am still slow but sure but the difference is I look forward to going out for a run and now I can run for 28mins! Now I think i can do it - 30mins that is - not sure about the 5k.
Thanks

That's wonderful! I'm right behind you (W7), and yes, I could have named myself the same thing....but we're out there putting one foot in front of the other, and, in the end, that's what REALLY counts!
Good running...and keep lettting us know how you are doing...almost graduation time!
Brilliant! It is fantastic that you are off that couch and nearly at the end of the podcasts! Iam v slow, but Iam learning to accept that and I want to build up distance in order to do a race for life. Well done!
Well done. I'm on my last run in week 8 but with you on the distance thing. I'm currently doing about 4K in 28 mins so will need the speed of a cheetah in the last 2 minutes - I don't think it's going to happen!!! Keep up the good work.
