I have been thinking and I really would like to give this a go. But want to start running early mornings before work. Now when shall I have breakfast, before or after and what do you have for breakfast?

I have 2 glasses of water before my run then porridge and more water afterwards.
banana and a yogurt maybe
I drink plenty of water the evening before and then prob pint / pint & half in the morning before going out. Brekkie when I get back...normally cereal
I have half a glass of water before I go out and then sultana bran and coffee when I get in.
To go against the grain, I head out the door without any fluids or food. I tried drinking water before a few weeks ago and it made for an atrocious run for me.
So now, I literally wake up, use the-ahem-facilities, get dressed and head out.
When I get in, I have half a glass of milk, a pint of water and a pint of squash, a banana and a bowl of Special K before grabbing a shower and heading to work.
Give the morning runs a try though - I found it absolutely amazing (I head out at 5:30am), it's just me and the foxes at the moment. No cars to worry about, no pedestrians, no dog walkers. I can concentrate and do my run in the quite world of South London.
I run in the morning before work and have half a pint of water before I go. I take half a bottle of Poweraid with me and drink it on the way. I did W3R3 last week and felt dreadful all day afterwards so read on here that Powerade or Lucasade can help and it does for me. When I come home I drink a pint of water and have museli, a banana and yogurt for breakfast and a coffee. Early morning runs give me a buzz all day, I go out for my run at 6am and feel amazing for the rest of the day afterwards. I live in rural North Yorkshire and its really lovely at that time of the day but I never knew as I'm usually snuggled up in bed....
