W5R3 done and not as difficult as I thought...

I decided to run this morning as my husband is home for bank holiday. I was more nervous a few days ago, but just decided, now, not to think about the time at all and just do it, as they say. It worked.

I know the route I run so well, that the familiar territory was really a support as I knew how far I had to get. And when she said five minutes left, I thought phew only five minutes, which then made me laugh. What a difference to a week or two ago, when five minutes seemed like a lot! Now I'm starting to get interested in finding out about times/pace/distance, so we'll see how that goes. I think I am pretty slow at this point.

I'm one of those doing this in conjunction with weight watchers and since I started C25K, my weight loss has started to go quicker, though not every week, but for a loss of 5 or so pounds, so it's a bit different from what others have experienced. I had been losing weight for some weeks before I started the program, so that could be a difference.

This is a longer post, as I find the longer posts helpful for advice and encouragement. Good luck everyone, though you won't need it if you just follow the program :-)

Well done kathy.

Week5 run 3 is a biggie to get over, mentally more than physically.

Onwards and upwards! :)
