Week1 Run2

Well don't know why I worried about going out in public to exercise, I've loved my first two trips out. Never thought I'd be able to do it but all the positive comments on the site made me give it a go and i did it. It almost feels joyous to be aching a bit :-)

Know it's early but can't wait till Friday (I will wait though before I get told off)

Yes, rest days are sacred. Glad you are enjoying the course, it's so adictive.

I skipped rest days early in the program - just bear in mind that the rest days get more important later in the program when you are running for longer, you have to learn to listen to your body.

Yep the rest days are important. I have been aching like mad the day after a run and then been ache free on run day. It makes such a difference - I have talked to people who have been on plans where it suggests running five days out of seven even at the start and they have all had longer term injury niggles or had to take longish breaks.
