Oh boy, have you ever started off on a run and felt as if you should just stop right now. Well that was me this morning for the first time ever I just was not looking forward to it. It was hard work and then the rain came on, that persistant downpour that we are getting used to these days.
BUT I DID IT, 5.03Km in 33mins 59secs. I'm sure I can improve on it on a day when I'm in a better frame of mind.
I've still got week 9 to do, starting Sunday which I'll use to try and improve on my time for this route, then graduation - yippee.

Well done that's a really impressive time, especially in the rain and you weren't feeling your best! I've somehow managed to avoid rain all week with the exception of a bit of drizzle Thursday morning, not sure how that happened.
Well old girl not so old really you seem to be able to run faster than some younger folk. I am not young though, but still find your times impressive, just back from my run and taking 37 minutes to do 5k!
Thanks Rose885 & Burstcouch (love the name). I don't think I'll ever be a fast runner at my age and my height is against me too, 5' 1" and only got little short legs too!!
Good luck for tomorrow Rose885, was thinking of going down to lurk for a while and maybe walk the coarse after, won't run cos its a rest day and I can't afford to have things go pear shaped now. Will try and find you to say hello if thats OK?
Sorry only just saw this now! Don't know if you might have seen me, I'm blonde and was wearing a turquoise t-shirt (and a very red face). Let me know when you're planning on running it and we can arrange a mini C25K meet up
