I've just returned from my first Week 1 run - took it easy and feel fine but legs starting to hurt now! Had check over at doctors yesterday just to make sure all was OK to start 5K training - would encourage all new runners to do the same. Looking forward to next run in a few days time. Any tips?

Well done on completing the first run! :)

My legs really ached after my first run (particularly my quad muscles), right up until my second run, but weirdly they have been great since (I completed week 1 today).

Well done, my legs were the same after run 1, and I felt better with the following two runs. I think I relaxed a bit as I knew what was expected. I will start week 2 tomorrow. Good luck for our next run.
