heard an interesting interview on the radio this morning with a chap called Simon Wheatcroft who is blind and runs ultra-marathons.

It was on Saturday Live on BBC Radio 4:

How cool is he? Really interesting listen, but I heard it on the way back from a Parkrun and I felt so weedy :-)

I listened to this interview on iplayer..absolutely incredible achievments...100 mile runs...did I really hear that right? no only an amazing long distnace runner but blind as well, it really does put me to shame when I moan about things like a spoit of rain stopping me!!
