I completed wk9 run3 on Tuesday morning after getting up at 5.30 and then out runing at 6, never would have imagined that i would come to love jogging and be happy to get up early to make sure i got my training in. The c25k has helped and supported me, Laura and all of you who post your triumphs and hardships have helped and inspired me. I Needed to build up my strength physically as I was diagnosed with cancer in march last year and finished cancer treatment in January, as I have not worked for nearly a year i became quite week and had put a fare amount of weight on and suffered from fatigue due to treatment.
I wanted to be able to run (improve my health) and raise money for the charity that helped me during a difficult time, on week 1 i found it so hard but found strength from somewhere to listen to Laura and wow - now waiting for my 1st week 10 run. I now have alot more energy, feel better, feel happier and I love being in the c25k group, thanks to you all who have graduated and those in training.
I am so much better all round in a short space of time (i have now started loosing weight - bonus), its wounderfull, good luck with your running and i hope you get all the benefits associated with running that i got and more besides, the programme works so well, - keep to and you'll make graduation to......... ( I have a 8.5 mile run in June to do so will continue to look to the forum for inspiration and help along the way plus aot of LOL ing)

That's fantastic news! Well done for sticking with it and graduating! I love this site. It's what keeps me going, hearing from real people with real difficulties and knowing that it's normal to have off days!
Good luck with your 8.5 mile run in June. Keep us posted with your progress!
Well done teamgreen - fantastic progress and I have no doubt whatsoever that the 8.5 miler in June will be just the start of more.
I now feel inspired to go out and do week 9 run 2 tonight - I must admit that I have been putting it off a bit but am now determined to get out there and graduate this weekend. No excuses......
