Just completed R2 WK3 . . Not finding it easy but have managed to complete each session so far. I found on my first run this week, my hands started to feel puffy and tight . . I have had this same feeling this morning. Is this normal or can anyone tell me why??

Puffy and tight feeling in hands . . why?
I have had the same thing recently! But I haven't just had it running, I've also had it as I walk to the tube (cold) and then once I'm on the (hot) tube my hands get puffy and tight. I think it's something to do with the change in temperature because: when I'm going to the park to run it's cold, and as I run my hands get tight, as it (and I heat up). I'm not worried about it though, I think only be concerned if it happens all the time. Well done on the run, good luck for week 3!
I walk a lot as well as doing this and if the weather is hot or I've walked a long distance this happens to me too. The first time I found it quite scary as I couldn't even bend my fingers properly! I wouldn't worry too much about it.
I don't know why this happens but it happens to me all the time - even walking. I always take my rings off before going out so my fingers don't get uncomfortable. It might have something to do with how much "swinging" they do while running/walking? Once I'm done....they go back to normal quickly.
I am so glad you have asked this as it has started happening to me and it scared me too. Now I feel alot better.
Interesting link blueboots.
This always happens to me when I'm on the walking part afterwards, but not during the running. It seems to happen when my hands are lower down, i.e. swinging alongside me when walking as if the blood is draining into them. When I raise them, it gets better, which is why they are ok when I'm running as my arms are bent.
Weird I know, but I'm used to it so it doesn't bother me.
Yup, this happens to me too, sometimes while running, but more often while walking and usually when at a very brisk pace and really swinging my arms! Usually when I'm running late
