Just got back from completing my W6/R3. As I’ve said in previous posts I’ve been on the treadmill up to now. It was really hard towards the end which was a long slow incline. So happy to have finished tho.

The hardest part was judging the pace. Was too fast for the first 2k which is probably why I struggled at the end. Live and learn. It’s all experience and a learning curve. I will ache tomorrow no doubt. So many differences to running indoors. Different surfaces. Weather. Muscle groups. Breathing. I’m happy I did it and even happier to complete it. On we go.

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 6 of C25K, you are now officially a runner, yes running outside is a bit different on running on a treadmill, onwards and upwards to week 7 which are all 25 minute runs, not long now until you graduate.

It’s sometimes hard to find that starting pace that’s just right. You’ll get there! Consistency will pay off.
