Completing C25K and Dogs!

So ... on Saturday I completed W9 R3 but during the run got bitten by a dog ... not a big dog, I confess ... though its teeth were big enough! I'll let you know if I start howlin' at the moon.

Today, I ran for the first time without a voice in my ear (well apart from the usual voices in my head🤪) and it was a bit odd ... had to make do with a playlist. Any suggestions for tracks to add to my running playlist?

Congratulations on completing C25K, very sorry about you being bitten by a dog during your graduation run, it doesn't matter how small a dog is, it's just the same wether being bitten by a Great Dane or a small Miniature Poodle, a bike is a bite, I hope you got it seen to by a doctor

Congratulations and goodness, I hope the owner apologised for their dog. If you like guided runs you could give Nike Run Club app a try, 😁

Well done! Time to celebrate!!

That must have been very scary - no matter the size of the dog...

Ouch... I do hope the owner apologised.... we do have a right to run safely and unfortunately some owners do not feel that.

Hopefully you are feeling no effects a your tetanus jabs are up to date too!

I once watched a video about running posture that suggested the best rhythm to run to is Hey ya, by Outkast...

It had to do with the rhythm, but not being a music nerd I can't tell you why, sorry! 😅

The usual recommendation is for a cadence around 160-180 steps per minute, which translates to a similar bpm in music.

I'm really surprised at this recommendation, though I love this track and could listen to it all day long. On the rare occasion I've tried to dance to it I found the rhythm is all over the place. It's a lot more complicated than it sounds.

Hi y'all, not the original video I looked at all these years ago, but scroll down and you will find interesting playlists, sorted by steps per minute (thanks nowster👍)

I like CBDB's BPM list on Spotify.
