Well it's been a few weeks and those good intentions have slipped somewhat. A late summer cold then followed by some rubbish mornings weatherwise has led me to the conclusion that the mornings are now too grey and miserable to go for an early run 😉
So it was back to the gym and the trusty treadmill tonight. A quick 3k under the belt and then back home. It's not as nice as running outdoors but it will do for the next 6 months.
On the plus side (and it's always good to finish on a positive) I've discovered the pacer programme on the treadmill, which surprisingly makes time go much quicker than just watching the clock count down. Now if I can just figure out how to set custom distances on it, we'll be golden.
Until the next time, just TRUST THE PROGRAMME

🍏 Well done for finding a way back & not letting it all slide which is sometimes what happens to us. I have never run on a treadmill .. in fact I find the idea scary 🤣 but what an amazing solution they are to the British weather. Hopefully once you can tweak the distance you will be A for away. We will be interested to hear next time round! Have a good 😊 week!
I think we are lucky in that we are still enjoying some reasonable weather and certainly the mornings are not too grey, yet
Maybe spot the days that you could head outside still, to make the most of the last few months before the darker damper days really set in!
The TM is so useful for inclement weather, I used to use mine a lot, if it was icy and after injury...watching virtual runs to pass the time, was great fun and I had a favourite...
The Old Man's Cave snow run,... Treadmill TV... on YouTube.. it was great for passing the time
