After being absolutely convinced I would never make it to 25 mins, I did it! 🎉 but I’m going at an absolute snails pace, anything faster and I feel like I can’t breathe.
Any tips on picking up the pace?

Well done on getting through week 6 AHJ20204 .
Despite its name the NHS C25K programme is designed to get you running for 30 minutes, not for 5k. And it's the action of running that counts as running, not how fast you're going. So you really don't need to be concerned about picking up the pace. In fact, going by what you say, you might well need to slow down.
There's an FAQ about pace here: healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
Oh, and maybe take a look at the C25K FAQ too, if you haven't already. Yes, it's a very long read, but there's useful info in there.
🍏 Great advice by Cmoi I am a happy snail & the few times I have done a park run I deliberately start near the back so I don’t run faster than I want to. Enjoy! 😊
Cmoi has given you sound advice... and to add to that slow is relative... for me, slow rocks...
Your runs at your enjoyable , comfy pace...
Such a wonderful achievement. Celebrate!!!!
Just three more weeks to go, so keep us posted.
hi AHJ20204 …no tips on picking up the pace at this stage..if you’re struggling with your breathing then the best thing to do would be to slow down…working on distance and pace will all come in time, but for now, concentrate on getting through the programme…you’ve got sooooo far..
