Well done BigP54 ..week 6 & 7 also felt like hard work to me..are you making sure you’re fully hydrated? This lovely warm weather we’re having will make a huge difference to your fluid intake so maybe take some water with you if you don’t already? Sleeping well?? That makes a difference too…Also..start slow…slower than slow, that will mean you can run for longer ..good luck, you’re nearly there now 👏
hi, I’ve just done wk6r3 which I believe is the same as week 7 runs, and like the poster above said, I ran slower than slow - and I do typically run very slow! But consciously slowed down anytime I felt myself edging forward. I’ve done the programme a few times, and it is all about running for the time, rather than speed at this stage. Good luck!

I agree with everyone so far. I was out for a run on Tuesday and although it was early and not as warm as it would get, by the end I was wishing I had taken some water on my run - that was the first time.
And definitely be sure you are going slow at the start - as MC & MM24 say - slower than slow. I used to say I could walk faster in a brisk walk than I did in my runs. But it works.
Something else I've learned is that no run is exactly the same. Especially in those last three weeks. I remember doing the first run of Week 7 and thinking, 'oh, this is a breeze.' On the second run - really tough. Every day is different.
I also give myself permission to go out for one run and finish a totally different run. Sometimes you go out the door thinking I'll just do 20 minutes today and you go out and run a 5K. Similarly, you may go out for that 5K and only feel like 20 min.
There's no set way. Enjoy your individuality and listen to your body!
well said completely agree
