I didn’t drink enough water yesterday or get enough sleep last night but this morning I drank an energy gel and ran anyway and I’m glad I did.
it wasn’t as windy as the last 2 runs but still was against me for the first half and I was so looking forward to the wind helping me along in the return half …. But it died down for most of it 😩. It felt like a really hard run and I was glad when it was over even though I was tempted to run another 2 mins to just make it up to the 30. But I resisted and I’m glad I did and as I was waking home I realised the reason it felt hard was that I was faster than the last 2 runs. Still not fast by anyone else’s standards but from 14.47 a mile on run 1, to 14.33 on run 2 and 14.10 on this 3rd one.
So all in all I’m glad I ran today and the next one is week9!!! Yay!! And it’s looking as though it will be dry for the next few days too 😁

Great to realise your limits and to not push it. I did a longer run at the weekend and walked for 100m not far from the end. I just knew I was pushing it and I needed just a little breather. A while ago that run would have been a failure in my head, but it was the longest run I've made - so a success!
You'll be stronger for the next run; which you're sure of because you didn't push this one. Well done!
well done limberlou …sometimes, when we’re not feeling it it can feel a little disappointing but not for you…!! Even thinking you might do the extra 2 mins that proves your legs, at least, were enjoying it!!! Good luck for week 9, hopefully this strange weather will have blown away x
