This morning I graduated again. My running habit hasnβt really become a habit so Iβve ended up revisiting various weeks over the years.
However Iβve kept going and my view is that doing something is far better than doing nothing. I donβt worry about speed / time / distance, my goal is just to keep exercising ( with motivation from Sarah Millican!) and to make it more of a habit. Iβve started off well this year, running twice a week and have kept it up. The most important thing for me is not to get injured so whilst pushing myself if I feel up to it, I donβt push too hard.
Soβ¦ keep running everyone and donβt beat yourselves up, just enjoy it and keep on doing it!

Excellent Shuffledaway, congratulations on graduating from C25K for the 9th time, I think you have set a new record on the number of times a graduate of C25K have graduated, there have been a few who have reran the course 3 or 4 times but not 9 times, I certainly agree with you that no one should beat themselves up and not get injured, onwards and upwards ππΎ π βοΈβοΈ
Well done Shuffledaway β¦thatβs exactly right, anything is better than nothingβ¦you are in good company revisiting C25k and picking a run here and there, Iβve done that over the years too & I know many people doβ¦so keep on keeping onβ¦youβre doing well
Congratulations to you! I hope youβre celebrating. Nine times is a new record Iβm sure!
Have you thought about coming across to Bridge to 10k? You donβt have to be working towards 10k unless you want to! Perhaps setting yourself some personal goals could help with keeping up with the running? It could be as simple as running three times a week. Weβve got a new quest today hosted by the lovely Annieapple where you choose your own targets and thereβs lots of support to stay on track. Hereβs a link just in case, but feel free to ignore if itβs not for youβ¦
Yes, people are so hard on themselves, I find. Iβve learnt to just take pleasure in what Iβve been able to do. Itβs good to push yourself but if you fail, donβt be hard on yourself, thereβs always tomorrow. The important thing is to keep going! Best of luck!x
