I haven't ran since my graduation run because I wanted to give my body rest before doing some consolidation training for the next 3 weeks however, the last couple of days the side of my right ankle has been uncomfortable with pressure being applied to it? Could be poor stretching? The side and back of my right leg was flaring up pretty bad during runs as well but that's calmed down at the moments, just wondering if anyone has expierenced this? My pt said that fellow pt clients have also experienced sore ankles near the end of thier c25k journey also.

It really is not something that we would expect from doing C25K, if you have been warming up and doing the stretches and putting in some extra strength work as the runs got longer..
Maybe time to go and see your GP or a Sports Physio' ..that way you will get a diagnosis and know exactly how to move on?
Definitely don't run until that pain has gone...probably the running you did whilst there was pain has not helped matters.. do go and get checked out and keep us posted please x
Like Oldfloss says see a doctor or physio, and take your running shoes with you. I had a tendon injury shortly after finishing C25K. The physio picked up my running shoes and folded them in half to prove they were knackered and said the lack of support had probably caused the injury.
Maybe the reason your pt said people hurt themselves at the end of C25K is because so many of us get carried away with the joy of running. Nothing wrong with that but it's really important not to run when you have pain. Take the time to heal yourself - rest, and raise the ankle when you're sitting down, ice it if necessary, put a compression bandage on it to support it. If it's preventing you from sleeping maybe take painkillers so at least you get a good night's rest.
Do all this while you wait for your doctor's appointment, you deserve better than guesswork from us bunch of helpful but unqualified internet strangers
That’s disappointing for you. Injuries are the pits, and it’s a poor graduation gift! Unfortunately they do happen, and if rest doesn’t improve it, then you need to see a qualified person. Good luck. This will pass…
Tight calves can cause aches around our ankles. Are you stretching after each run?
Because I’ve sprained my ankle a few times in my running life, I work on my ankle mobility a lot and am always rotating them in every direction when I’m sitting (you know where you draw circles with your ankles) and warm them up by standing on tip toes and then back to heel again.
Perhaps a few gentle movements will get the blood flowing and any tightness might go, otherwise, as the others have said, it would be good to get a proper diagnosis so you know what you're dealing with. You want to be able to run for a long, long time.
Remember, injury is temporary, running is forever!
Good luck 🍀
l did. My ankle flared up on my graduation day and l wasn’t able to run for a few months so had to repeat the whole program. My issue? Inadequate shoes for my flat feet and no insoles. It was resolved through gait analysis later on. Nothing wrong with those shoes - except they were not right for me.
I could hazard a couple of guesses as to what you've injured or aggravated, but they would only be guesses. Stop running until the pain goes, meanwhile see a physio who can diagnose you (I'm a bit puzzled why your current one didn't to be honest) then you can get advice on what to do to build up strength where you need it.
