🏆 If you are already into something new. We would love to hear about it.
🏆The suggestion is to CONSOLIDATE for about 3 weeks. This is a short term goal to move you toward fulfilling your longer term goal. This will look different for every one of you. You have worked so hard for 9 weeks so now it’s time to relax and enjoy your runs. You are continuing to build up this new habit to make it part of your lifestyle, to strengthen your legs and lungs and even more importantly your mental resolve. You will have 3 weeks to think about the next step. For me at this stage I simply wanted to be able to run a bit further in my own time. In time this goal changed… running is never static 😊 our goals may change as we go a long, as life happens..but oh it’s so good to dream and set the little goals that move us towards the dream.
🍏 Keep that routine going of 3 runs a week for 30mins without adding any extra time for a little while. Consolidating through winter is extra challenging, but the up side is, you will build mental stamina and stronger determination, faster than in any other season. Are you up for it? We can encourage, help and give you tips all the way through to Spring!
🍏 If you miss the trainer in your ear, explore other apps that offer guided runs. Highly recommended is the free Nike Run Club App. You look for a guided 30 min EASY run. There are many with fun titles and good coaching.
🍏 Some folk prefer the freedom of a sensory run, just running without anything in their ears, enjoying the sights, smells and the breeze.
🍏Enjoy your own uninterrupted music or podcasts.
🍏 Explore new routes maybe one with a hill.
🍏 Try running with a friend or joining a running club
🍏Try a Park run… run for 30 mins at your own pace, and walk the rest.
🍎 You could join me & others in the team in the RED January, Challenge! Run or Exercise Every Day this Month. I run Mon, Wed, Friday and do a walk, Pilates or strength and flex on the other days.
🏆💥Your Story…this is the place to share your journey through C25
