🍏 Weather changes

Here in the Rocky Mountains of Canada the weather changes back and forth overnight! It’s very wind dependent! I enjoyed a 3k run on Monday. Yesterday we woke up to thick ice everywhere and I was glad it wasn’t a run day. This morning it was -6 with a feel like factor of -9 but the ice was completely gone! Runday for me & I managed a slow but steady 4k run. A little bonus at the start of my run was a herd of deer… We are now off to the hot springs for some swimming in the warm pool and then a lovely long soak in the very hot natural springs.. all out in the fresh mountain air!

This sounds fantastic, my coldest ever run was 5.3 km at -10C in Russia before all the problems. The snow was like powder, no ice, just fantastic and crunchy underfoot. It just doesn't get that cold here in England. Snow here just goes soggy and mushy when you step on it.

You lucky thing to have a hot spring handy as well, hope you enjoy every minute :)

🍏👍You can’t explain that powdery snow to someone who hasn’t experienced it! It’s amazing to run on! Russia is an incredible destination to run! Wow!

Wow, that's amazing! Lucky you. We're on holiday in York at the moment. The river is in flood through the centre of the city. I had hoped to run along the side of the river. We are watching the level from our apartment window. Maybe just give the park run ago on Saturday. The scenery looks amazing over there, not sure about the cold though 😱

New York is lovely. Some beautiful buildings, bridges and that amazing Park! A parkrun there would be awesome!! Hope the flooding hasn’t ruined your sightseeing ! My daughter is in Miami and it’s flooded out too. Their apartment is also on the river!
