A bit more :-)

But this time I overdid it.

My old back issues have been coming back ever since.

I already know that I don't want to run tomorrow at all.

I'll see tomorrow..

Totally agree with   Mummycav . It’s frustrating to have to pause the runs but that’s so much better than ending up on the injury couch.

Have you had any advice or physio for your back before? Are you doing any strength and flex alongside the running to support it? It’s not always the most interesting aspect of running when we all want to be out on the trails or pounding the pavements but it can be really important to keep us running the way we want to. That’s what I’ve had to make peace with-to carry on without pain or injury I’m now in the gym a lot more than before.

Rooting for you to avoid back troubles this time ❤️

Something else to consider is coming over to the Bridge to 10k forum-that’s for anytime who is beyond Couch to 5k and continuing to run, potentially building to 10k or an hour’s run time. Most people there are posting about their runs are similar to yours. It could be a good fit for this phase of your run journey. No pressure though!

Thank you very much for your answer. I'm sorry, so I don't forget anything, I'll answer in points (also to Mummycav):

1) Thanks again!

2) "listen to your body lusmo...if your back says no...don't go x"

I'm really trying. It's one of my big challenges :-)

3) "It's frustrating to have to pause the runs but that's so much better than ending up on the injury couch. Have you had any advice or physio for your back before?.."

At the beginning of this year, it looked like I wouldn't even be able to walk properly.

I started out with W1R1 just going as a walk.

I have completed a medical stay at the spa and am seeing my rehabilitation doctor.

The reason why I started running is actually that I tried to "keep myself in operation" with the goal of "not belonging to old iron yet".

4) I try to practice the rehabilitation exercises that they imposed on me.

However, now I am facing the tingling of the tip of my hand.

I was warned earlier that it could be spine related.

So - either I just slept badly. I'll see..

5) "Rooting for you to avoid back troubles this time ❤️"

Thank you very much indeed! :-) ❤️

6) "Something else to consider is coming over to the Bridge to 10k..

That didn't even occur to me, because I have no ambition to run 10 km.

That's why I didn't even look at this forum :-)

I'll be glad to keep moving.

Thanks again everyone for your support! :-)
