Cant believe that one year ago today, I strapped on my trainers and did run 1, week 1. I remember after that first minute running how I thought I was going to die and never get through the 9 weeks....but I did. Running has changed my life in so many ways, all that initial pain was definitely worth it. I'm never going to be quick, but I don't care, I run for me 😊 I get my motivation in other ways. Last month I did the strava 100km in a month challenge, I also did a 10k route that I used to cycle as a kid and never in a million years thought I could run...but I did.
Im now happier, healthier and fitter than i was a year ago so just believe in yourselves and stick at it...Good things will definitely come your way.
