Asthmatic run this a.m.

W4r2 I took my inhaler this morning but first 3 min run was a struggle after that it settled and was OK. Wonder if I am starting off too quickly. Will make an effort to stay slow. Otherwise legs fine. Ready to go again!

Well done you! We can all set off too fast if we dont concentrate , I know I do and its only when I realise I'm puffing I slow down a bit

Sounds like you enjoyed it Basil. Try to start very slowly. It’s easy especially as the cooler weather arrives to run faster to keep warm so we need to be aware of slowing down! Well done!!

As well as keeping to an easy pace - you should be able to carry on a conversation comfortably when running - it might be worth doing a longer warm-up.

Hi! Thanks for your suggestions. I started my run slower today and cracked it. By the end of 3mins breathing was fine and it continued like that until the end. W4r3. In fact I felt I could have gone further,yeah!
