I just finished wk 5 run 3 and really enjoyed it even in the rain’ every now and then I found myself sort of zoning out with my breathing good my legs feeling light and just “ flowing” it was weird but v pleasant! Is this normal?? Does it make me a runner? Grateful for any advice guys xx

It is very pleasant on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, congratulations, you are a runner when you completed run 1 of week 1 but once you have completed run 3 of week 6 of C25K you are as your coach will tell you "that you are OFFICIALLY A RUNNER" , onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran.

Aw thanks yrs I’ve peeked ahead at week 6 as lots of people have commented on that x my route is different during the wk as I run b4 work so I know my landmarks c today I ran from one village church to ours x

Thanks SueAppleRun as I say it wasnt an unpleasant sensation maybe that’s what people mean when they say “ I’m in the zone” !!

We are all trying to find that feeling of flow. It’s brilliant when it comes along, as you experienced with your run! You’ve been a runner for a few weeks now-let your brain catch up with your legs!
