W1R2- early days, late nights, running soggy, but feeling fine

So I actually turned up and did the run and I'm also making a point to myself to ensure I do a post, even be it the smallest post, to remind myself that "I did this and I'm putting the work in". It's late, I need a shower and my bed, urgently. My amazing other half just said "go now, I'll distract him!" (Him being the little one of course). So I have my support in place, which is brilliant.

I didn't think a run in the rain would feel great, but it think it's more the achievement perhaps. I also followed the stretches post exercise vid, which I'm hoping will help me to not feel (m)any aches and pains.

Night night run fam, let's keep going x

Cheers ToothPickJafah ! Yes, I'm very lucky, but I won't take liberties either 😆 thanks for the support 👊🏾🙌🏾! Night time run was surreal. Wasn't sure how I'd feel doing it, but determination to run just made me go rather than thinking about anything else. I stayed safe and on paths where I was seen, and made myself visible.

Let's all do this! 🤩

Cheers Oldfloss 🙏🏾 I'm seeing a lot about Tibetan rites too? I also practice yoga but will look to see where I put it into practice before/ after a run?

Will keep it up! 👍🏾🤞🏾

The rites are short and can be tweaked to suit the time you have.... or how you feel... even the seated version impacts more than you may imagine:)

Well done! Running at night, too -AND the rain. Total dedication!

Yes, the stretches will help and get you into a routine of doing them.

Cheers for the tip Jools2020 will certainly look to make more connections for support 😄 stretches are a saviour. Must admit, sometimes feel a bit like I want to just rush thru them but I know I will benefit by just sticking with them for the additional 12 mins after my run.
