Well I managed it in freezing gale force winds ...(Well about 30mph with big gusts), sea roaring in my ears but a clear night so could see the lights on the distant wind farm twinkling and quite a bit of moonlight.

I should probably have stayed at home as I was feeling a bit unwell this afternoon having just been crowing about not having a cold for 13 months.. I think I'm coming down with some sort of head cold and bad cough and now feel shivery and lousy. I'm not going to run until I'm better now but hopefully that will be by the end of the weekend. No timefor Stan night , he can do one!

I'm impressed that you went out in this awful weather, but be kind to yourself if you're not well.

Best excuse... sorry Stan, I have a headache!

Well on your way now. Week 3's on the doorstep. Hope you're able to knock the cold on the head before it takes hold. Look after yourself :)

Well done MotherPip , sorry to hear you're feeling poorly now though. Yes, do rest up and get well. Running will still be there when you are ready.😊xx

I find if I overdo it I sometimes get a cold. My last cold was after my first long run post graduation. I knew I was pushing myself and not being sensible at the time and promptly fell ill. Hope you shake it off soon💊

Feel much better this morning than I did last night. Lemsip and an early night really helped (Early for ma Pip means before midnight) I actually slept very well which I didn't expect, and Mr Pip brought me a Lemsip in bed this morning..So we'll see how it goes.. The Run wasn't too horrendous last night..The first 3 were into the wind so I felt like I was running on the spot. The last 3 were better as I turned homewards and got buffeted from behind. It's all good lol... have a good day everyone

Well done but take it easy. I ignored a cold and got sinusitis which has lingered. Eventually went to doctor and on my second week of antibiotics. So be warned by my short sightedness. Running is a change for ever so taking time off if you are unwell is just sensible. .

Well done - I find running in any wind horrible! A rest sounds like a good idea if you're feeling a bit rubbish, a few days won't do any harm at all. W2R3 will still be there waiting for you when you feel better. :)
