Hi All,

I posted a while back about doing the program again after graduating about 8 years ago. I finished the plan for a second time at the beginning of October 2022 and I've done 56 consolidation runs since.

My initial aim was to run 5k before the end of 2022 but annoyingly I didn't make it. I finally managed 5k towards the end of May 2023 - 3 days before my 40th birthday. It took me almost 50 minutes.

I've been keeping a tracker since 01/01/23 and have run a total of 126.3km in the last 6 months.

Admittedly, I've not run as much / often as I was planning but I'm keeping on keeping on. My second 5k was 48min 35s so I managed to shave some time off! It's been a bit too hot to try 5k again so I'm sticking to the 30 min runs for now.

Anyway I just wanted to say that not everything goes to plan but that's OK - I'm more active now than I was this time last year. I didn't want to be an overweight, unhealthy mess in my 40s so here I am trying my best. That's better than nothing x

That’s such an encouraging post! You’ve done brilliantly. You talked about not running as much as you’d planned but it sounds like you’ve managed to make it an everyday part of your life and that’s something to be really proud of.

The heat is a challenge at the moment! You’ll get that 5k again when it’s right for you. Sometimes ticking over mode is just what you need!

Thanks so much for sharing! ❤️❤️❤️
