After a good day of strength & flex yesterday which included a refreshing swim in the North Sea, I headed out very early for my run. That cool crisp air as I start the warm up walk, is a tonic in itself! A beautiful sky with sunlight peeping through the clouds beckons me on into the runā¦. I feel heavy.. leaden legs.. this is not meant to be.. I distract myself watching the gulls fishing for breakfastā¦ another early runner greets me from the opposite direction.. I tune in to my body and realise itās feeling easier as I pass the first toxic 10 minutes.. I pass the wild flowers still waiting for more sunshine.. I feel I need more oomph too.. I keep moving and at last find my rhythm.. I head up and over the little bridge.. the run has begun! Somedays are a little harder thatās all!

Huge well done. Getting the exercises in and reaping the benefits, even though some runs may not feel like it .Many reasons can be the cause. You kept going, you didn't give up and suddenly the pace was there.

Youāre so right-sometimes itās just a bit tougher. I think the harder days make the easy ones feel extra sweet.
Those ones where everything feels heavy are a real test of your mental toughness and you certainly showed the strength youāve got by getting through. ā¤ļøšŖā¤ļø
