Love all the Early Bird writers comments today! Fun & encouraging! Itā€™s also so lovely down on the beach passing some of the regular runners who smile and greet you.. or a thumbs up.. I love ā€œrunner watchingā€ ā€¦ I love this forum where we talk about running as much as we need toā€¦ we never stop learning from each otherā€¦ For those still to enjoy their run..have a good one!

Those nods and smiles from fellow runners passing by are absolutely golden arenā€™t they!

Thatā€™s one of the nicest and most unexpected parts of my run journey-the community. Considering I started it as an easy solo thing I could do straight from home, on my own to process my own thoughts and just keep myself fit, itā€™s amazing that Iā€™ve got a whole new load of virtual run buddies out there to share the journey with. Itā€™s wonderful!

Iā€™m still in awe of you early birds!

Iā€™m a lone runner and was kept company by the birds and bunnies!

Maybe once Iā€™ve graduated Iā€™ll think about doing a park run with some fellow runners and see what that experience is like.

But for now, Iā€™m going solo! Got you lovely people keeping me company and cheering me on šŸ–¤šŸ’œšŸ–¤

I often thought about doing patkruns or events, but prefer to run alone - gives me headrace. Everyone is different, but running past a heron in the reeds this morning made my line running worthwhile. Running buddies on this forum are a must though!

Me too, me too, i am also a lone runner and prefer it that way (i have this forum for support and chats and guidance) Sunday gone i ran past an athletic looking runner doing his warm up stretches in the street, he waved at me as i ran past, i waved back, then i did a u-turn (as the road was blocked off) and ran past him again and he waved again and said good morning, i ran round into another road and he had set off and ran past me again (much quicker than me) and nodded at me again! i love watching other runners also and its a good feeling when they say hello, nod or wave.
