I have made the very firm decision to follow Oldfloss on The Strength & Flex Forum whether I feel like it or not. …Starting last night with some squats while brushing my teeth..that was fun.. this morning before rolling out of bed into my running gear I did a few ankle rolls before my dynamic warm up..hopefully as I add a few suggestions into my days they will become habit… however as I head out the door into the North Wind & start my run..I know this is my happy place…however the strength and flex will keep me in this happy place a lot longer!!!
Thanks OldFloss!!

Well done and it's very true, I've been doing the teeth brushing squats for years now and when I first started them they were really tough, but it's second nature when I'm standing still, I just have to remember not to do them if queuing in a shop, but no one raises their eyebrows if I raise to toes and back 😂Hope the run was lovely
Might be a different colour, very pale blue this morning, I'm going later will take some photos if it's still a pretty colour, what I love about the sea is it's always different
Strength and stretching exercises are an absolute must - remember ‘walk tall when old’ and ‘use it or lose it’?
Not only will they keep our muscles in use, active and stronger, the joints will remain more flexible if exercised daily. It’s now been three years that (through discipline if nothing else) l stretch daily for anything between 30 minutes and a few hours, simply because l stopped watching tv while sitting on the sofa and simply sit on the carpet and stretch instead. It’s a game changer. I’m literary more flexible than l was decades ago.
