Para run

Just started couch to 5k, I use a wheelchair so routes are limited. Also. I can't yet fit in 3 a week so doing an adapted version with 2 per week. Wondering if anyone else has done this and has it worked for them?

Good morning to you! Welcome... !

I was not sure whether we had ever had a wheelchair runner using this programme before, but yes we did!

We had someone in 2017... but they only posted once.

Your level of fitness will determine how you move forward... and you will obviously have to define walking pace and running pace yourself, but I can see that otherwise the structure should work for you.

We organise the runs to suit ourselves and our lifestyle... many of us run less than three times a week.. life and all the issues that come with that ,means it is necessary. You run, your way:)

Please do read this essential post which will give you some advice and support to keep you moving...

healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Lots of advice there which could be adapted to suit your demands too?

Hope this may help a little? Do please, keep us posted.

PS

There is a group called Wheel power online...maybe take a look at that?

This site too. may have some useful advice if you feel you need it?

Hi & welcome...I know a few of our runners have said they've done every 3rd day. You can just adapt the programme to suit your lifestyle & level of fitness.

It doesn't matter how long it takes you to get through C25K, it's getting out there for the wonderful benefits of fresh air & exercise that's important 😊👍
