So it turns out I can run for 20 continuous minutes after all! πŸ˜… So, so happy. Thank you so much for all the positive and encouraging words earlier this week.

I normally try to get out first thing, but had too much work today so in the rather hotter than usual midday sun, off I went feeling bolstered by all the support.

I had a bit of a wobble when Jo Whiley appeared to tell me I'd done 2.5 minutes. Still 17.5 to go then. Gulp! Bit of a slog for the first half but after that bell went, I was flying (at zimmer frame pace). And then suddenly "you've run for 15 minutes". Well I can definitely run for five, can't I? You bet I can!

Finished up surging with endorphins and feeling proud as punch. I couldn't imagine doing this run when I started out. But I've done it now!

Thanks again for all the support and I'll continue to post updates as I continue, if that's ok. It's a great way to keep on track. 😍

I have got jelly legs now, though!

Fantastic! You'll be smiling all day now 😁

Take your time with week 6 runs 1 and 2 as they often catch people out with going back to intervals!

Thank you! I definitely will! I'll be sticking with my snail pace for the next two and will see how it goes. I've seen a few people mention that they're harder than they look.

I think a lot of people feel they are invincible after running 20 minutes and set off too fast and burn out
