Sorry you’ve got a cold. There’s a lot around at the moment. I haven’t run in a week and a half because of mine. Get well soon!

I think I’ve lost track of where you’re up to with your knee. I think your physio was advising you to take things very slowly and you’ve recently restarted run/walking again? Have I got that right? Perhaps parkrun with all its temptations to run all the way might be a little soon.

Take care of yourself and hope you’re up and recovered soon.

She said to try a bike which I have now for 4 weeks and no issues, and if I can walk 5k then try and do a park run but take it easy which I was going to be doing, I know my boundary now as I can feel it in my knee and to be honest unless it's replaced like the left one it's not going get any better

It’s great you’ve got a supportive physio. I think you had agreed with her that you were going to build back the runs gradually once you could walk 5k. Have you got a run/walk strategy for your park run? Lots of people do it like that!

I know myself well enough to know I’d get swept up in the crowds and run too fast all the way, but perhaps you’ve got more willpower than I do!

A lot of colds and things going around at the moment unfortunately.I'm a little confused here .

On an earlier post you said you were advised not to run or to take it easy .

Then your previous post said you had done week 1 on the treadmill.

But now you say you were wanting to do a park run .

What is the situation now with your knee and advice from the physio ?

The status with my knee is that I have arthritis in it like I have put before in a previous post, and regards physio they have me on their books for 2 months incase I need to go back as I had the cortisone injection over a month ago
