Was my run 1 week 6 , and boy its hard work in this windy wet weather πŸŒͺ️🌨️ but I feel assured progress is being made as managed to push through the gale , which I feel sure would of been easier to stop and go again another day . But this hoping to be runner found the mindset to complete run 1, and it felt an achievement today . I guess more of an achievement as still a Newby here , with dreams of successes like the ones I have read on this forum since day one . Here's to dreaming and getting closer to that week 9 , sounds strange to say it to be honest . Thankful for this forum as it has changed my life for the better , I will close by saying I have been inspired by so many others here, I am blessed truly . πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

That's quality right there. Love it! You did the right thing going and braving it because those runs build that invincibility and that consistency. Keep going and believing in yourself. It'll set you up to do whatever you need in the future. Awesome πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Really well done Iceland1974. It has been really windy up north hasn’t it. I did my first 20 minute run yesterday since November. Very pleased with myself but will now take it easy for a few weeks to protect my niggly hip. Happy running onto W6R2 πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

This is brilliant. Running helps you discover grit and strength you never knew you had. Every run you do, will make you stronger, fitter and better as a runner. Cheering you on! πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ
