First run for a month having got to week nine run 1 before a groin strain.Went back to week 4 run 1 to ease back into it. The run was easy enough and the groin doesn't feel too bad. So good to be back running been going stir crazy 🤪

Great to see you back! I had my own injury problems after a fall before Christmas. It was a slow and somewhat frustrating road to recovery but after a couple of months I’m back to where I was.
Take it slow. Really, really slow! Give yourself enough rest. I found it helpful to focus on the recovery as a whole new experience so I was only comparing with the previous run and not how I was running before the fall. Building strength and flex work in could help with your resistance to another injury. As a newer runner, you’re at greater risk of injury than those who’ve been at it for years. It’s really important to build up slowly. At times that might feel like you’re holding yourself back but play the long game and keep off the injury couch!
