Hello! I completed my final week 9 run this morning and have just registered with this group. Haven’t covered 5k in my 30 minutes yet but not too far off so am planning to sign up for my local park run to keep on track.
no apology needed, I didn’t even think there was a delay. I was sad when I went to post my success and saw your sad post, I can’t imagine how everyone else is feeling x
I can’t believe I actually competed W9R3 today! I haven’t run since I was 13 years old, 50 years ago and I lhave loved it. I need to find motivation to carry on now so I’ve treated myself to an Apple Watch.
buying an Apple Watch was the best thing I ever did. I got mine around week 4 of C25K and this watch has taught me so much health wise, kept me motivated, and definitely helped me 200%.
hi all, graduated last week (no graduation badge yet, not sure how to get one) and just completed a week of consolidation runs. Happy plodding on, smug in the fact that I’ve actually finished C25K. Looking at going back to treadmill running when the days are colder and wetter. Any advice out there?
Congratulations and well done... ! Apologies for missing this.. so much Admin' business going on, following the sad news last week of losing one of our Forum Team. x
I finished my W9R3 yesterday! I had my doubts at first but as every week went by my confidence grew. Now at young age of 71 I’ve completed C25K and feel great! Only managed about 4km in the 30 min but going to keep working to get the extra km.
Hello! I’ve recently completed the programme for the second time.. I didn’t get round to requesting my badge last time but would like to have it now please. I haven’t posted before but regularly read posts and would like to thank you all for the advice. Hoping to do Tim’s run over the weekend. His advice was useful and interesting and his beautiful posts always touched me.
Finished the 3rd run of week 9 this morning. 4.17 k in 30 mins. Some more work to be done to get to 5k so I will continue to consolidate for the month of December.
I have booked to join an absolute beginners , all women trail running/ hike group for 6 runs in the New Year.
