i write this to hopefully encourage any out there who are struggling. I am 72 years oid, with diabetes, angina and arthritis in my right knee and am due to finish couch25k this Thursday and do my first park run on Saturday. Given the struggles in the early weeks it's good to have finally made it. As Denise keeps telling me I should be really proud. Good luck to all

Fantastic post, you are amazing! Look forward to seeing your graduation run post 🤗👍
Congratulations to you. My friend took up running at 67, and ran her first marathon at 70. She also had angina & diabetes. Following the marathon, her doctor took her off all medication- she didn't need it any more.
Enjoy your park run, it will be a PB. The first of many!
Well done and good luck for Saturday.
