Niggling knees over the weekend and busy so it’s taken me longer than I wanted to start week 2 and this morning it was raining and I didn’t feel like it, and I couldn’t find a bum bag …and the Gremlins were there telling me I couldn’t do it …so I gave myself a shake and me and the dog set off. I stuck to the flatter bits of the park tbf but we did it and it was ok, remembering the breathing tips - which I can’t manage but will keep on with and …didn’t stop when I tripped and whacked myself on a gate right at the end of the first warm up walk - I’ll post a pic of the bruise when it comes out - it’ll be a cracker! Happy trails all!!

Well done for getting out there! That bruise will remind you that you're a warrior and that nothing can stop you. I have to say that I don't think about breathing at all because when I did try to follow breathing advice, things went radically wrong. I find that just keeping it really slow is the way to go for me but we are all different. Good luck for your next run!
