Finally got 3rd run done on the Treadmill, ok it took me the best part of a month. Still had to stop halfway to adjust prosthetic, but I'm ok with that, w having a few days away in Scarborough so will have no chance of running then, so I think I shall rerun this one when I get back, but I shall try it outside and not on treadmill, will I find that easier than treadmill?

I don’t like the treadmill much, but definitely easier to adjust the prosthesis if you are in your own home rather than almost anywhere outside.. 😂

Well done on your run! Unless you really want to, there’s no need to repeat your run. Having extra rest days is fine and it might even be good for you.

Outside you might find it’s harder to manage pace and you’ve also got the change in terrain underfoot to deal with. It’s really easy to go too fast. I much prefer running outdoors though. I find treadmills really boring. I know lots of people love them but not me! Definitely worth persevering with outside because it opens up lots of possibilities of exciting places to run, running with others, parkrun, big events etc. Enjoy your time away and good luck with the next run.

HI MissUnderstanding, It's taken me nearly a month to complete week 1, so 1 extra run will help me compare Treadmill to out door, I find outdoor walking so much easier than treadmill, but on a treadmill it is so much easier to compare one walk/run to the next, less variables to contend with, will post how I get on.🙂

That sounds like a sensible plan. Looking forward to the update! Really good luck. Crossing fingers for good weather…currently it’s flippers needed out there!!!

It doesn’t matter if it took you a year to do the run, at least you’re having a go. I think you’ll find running better outside because there’s more to look at. Especially if you find a nice route to go along. Good luck with the rest of the C25K challenge 🏃‍♀️👍
