tbh i was originally going to have sats n suns off but i was so hyped at being able to do the runs the first week i couldnt wait the 2 days to do next i thought missing a day inbetween runs would be fine now i feel like i might be rushing it even tho im able to do the new week runs

You are fine doing it the way you are as long as you are having a day off between runs .I did exactly the same thing , I ran every other day .

(Untill after week 8 run 1 and an injury then I started taking 2 days off)

As Instructor57 says, you are doing fine... do it to suit yourself... just make sure you have at least that one day off, running!

You can pop in some strength and stamina work in on some of your rest days... that is going to be so helpful as you move on through the programme. That works off any extra energy you may have to0 :)

Lots of links on the Strength and Flex forum!

Well done you!

There is so much you can do with very little room or equipment, to build up the kind of stamina and core strength that you need for your running...Lots of posts on the strength and flex forum , but here is a link to a whole load of basic work for your running body.

Remember too that walking is a great exercise for some rest days, as is a housework workout or a day in the garden!

You’re hooked aren’t you Crow?! 😅 How great is that? As everyone has already said, just make sure you’re taking rest days off running and the rest will fall into place. Enjoy. 😀

Your question, along with a lot of other useful tips, is answered in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

C25k weeks do not have to coincide with calendar weeks.

I used to run on Sundays, Tuesday and Thur/Fri (weather and social diary dependant). As long as you have at least one day off in between, that’s what’s important. It’s very addictive though isn’t it 🏃‍♂️

You’re definitely hooked lol. I’m taking it slow and steady - running when I have time and have the energy hahahahahaha. Good luck with this all.

ty yup very hooked i just dont want to stop n already planning beyond 5k ive noticed alot of ppl that redo 5k because they just stop after graduation i want to incorporate jogging permently into my life as a routine ive just found out we have parkruns that i hear alot about here in new zealand so theres that i do want to carry on to 10k not to do 10 but to jog consistantly for 1 hour ultimate goal is to run 7-8 kms without stopping
