Kicking myself now for not having the self belief to start sooner ! I’m really enjoying the programme and building trust in it. Even felt comfortable enough early on this beautiful morning to do an extra little jog. Happy Thursday everyone 😊

Well done on completing week 2.And I think a lot of us say we wish we started earlier .

Try and resist the temptation to run more than the program suggests though .... It's very easy to over do things especially at this stage .

Enjoy week 3 🙂

Well done Mrsmuppet.

This Couch to 5K programme has taught me to follow the plan. I had previously spent far too much time injured after pushing too much, running too fast and racing ahead. C25K has shown me how, in my late fifties (doh!), for the first time, to run properly while minimising risk of injury. Having previously spent a year rehabilitating torn Achilles’ tendons daily with massage, pain, frustration and tedium, it is far far better to make slow and steady progress than do too much and risk weeks or months on the Injury Couch (IC). Play it safe, look after yourself, happy running.

Well done on completing week 2. I’m just starting week 3 but have done this programme before and know it becomes addictive. Enjoy the successes and don’t sweat the difficult runs. Happy running.
