Finished C25k today. Amazed with myself. I never had to repeat a week, and managed 4k this morning! I have never run in my life, even at school, which was a long time ago. Hi. I've just managed my first 30-minute run today but only managed 3.65k. However, I'm 64 and only 1m55 so take short strides! 😀 Do I still qualify? Please?? 😀

Distance is irrelevant! All you need to do is finish the programme with the three 30 minute runs. You’re so nearly there!!!!

Finished W9R3 this morning. Yay! I enjoyed the first half and hung in there for the second half, thanks to Laura's encouraging words and the brilliant penultimate song on the podcast. Thanks to all the team involved in this successful and inspiring C25K programme. I am truly astounded that I am able to run for 30 min, having suffered from an achilles problem in past decades and thinking I was past it. Looking forward to signing up for my first ever Park Run this weekend! Thinking about how I am going to continue and consolidate - especially when the colder weather arrives. I find it easy to go out running on sunny fresh summer mornings, but I imagine it will be harder on dark, cold winter days. I think the key will be to keep in mind the wonderful health benefits of running regularly. I would be very happy to have a graduation badge.

I actually find it enjoyable in the cooker months as you very soon reach temp when running .

I was about to close the August badge treasure chest but as the badge keeper for September hasn't arrived yet I'll keep it open a little longer
