Yes I was going to wait for a sale before investing in some more colourful running gear but Mr M0use has just given me a late graduation present of these very snazzy new leggings so I had to take them out for a spin.
No more apologetically hiding in black and grey. Everybody is going to see me coming🏃♀️ ☺️ I'm an overweight, over sixty, wobbly, slow runner. Get used to it. 😄🌈🏃♀️🐌

They are lovely and it’s something to be proud of that overweight, over 60, wobbly bits slow runner 🏃🏻♀️ 😀 join the club 😀that’s me too and i can now run best part of a couple of hours
You are not all that wobbly MOuse, that's a nice photo of you, that was lovely of Mr MOuse giving you a graduation present of those leggings, I am sure you will enjoy running in them. 😊
Waist pocket (at the back) measures 20 x 7 cm with a 16 cm zip opening. They also do thigh pockets but I don't know what size they are (from Rainbows and Sprinkles by the way)☺️
Superb leggings. Every non runner out there needs to notice awesome new runners of all shapes and sizes on their runs.. I believe the “if she can I can” mentality actually gets more people off the couch than the elites currently doing their stuff in Birmingham ever can.
Thanks so much, never thought of myself as inspiring anyone. I just know it took me 3 weeks before I gathered the nerve to get out of the door for week 1 run 1 and I've been trying to run unnoticed ever since. So I think perhaps you have a point if I had seen more older, wobbly people like me maybe it wouldn't have taken me so long to take the first step. ☺️🌈🏃♀️🐌
You’re exactly right… running is not about 20 somethings with 2% body fat running like gazelles… it’s all about US, but we sometimes let them play too.
Wow 🤩 I love your new leggings. Don’t be scared if letting people see you running. You’re doing something for yourself and your health and that’s more than most folks are doing. Congratulations on graduating x
You look great! Fellow chubby 60 something here, when I run I dress for me, it's given me so much confidence that I truly don't even think about what other people might think about my running gear as long as I'm comfortable.By this time next year you'll be in loud shorts and a racer back t shirt! How many women our age can do what we do (and have this much fun?)
I would never have believed it possible myself. These days I literally don't give a **** if someone else wants to criticise as long as I feel good. It's incredibly liberating! (I admit to using fake tan on my legs, the world isn't quite ready for those pale meaty sausages but if they're brown I figure it's ok 😂)
I'll be a sixty something runner in just over a week's time, and you are all so right - we are fabulous and marvellous and inspiring and should be seen and admired! I feel more than privileged to be running at all, after having had the most unexpected heart attack 18 months ago. So what I look like and how slow I run are completely irrelevant to anyone else! Love the leggings and the yellow top, MOuse, you look awesome 🥰
Congratulations on your recovery and your achievement and Happy birthday 💐🎂. Thank you so much, I agree, I run for me because it makes me feel good and not for anyone else ☺️🏃♀️🐌
Looking great. I didn’t start running till I was 64 and I’m overweight and I’m slow. It’s a great club to be in. I’m sure you’ll enjoy many happy hours in your new gear 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
